Fall Season Concludes with Award Ceremony and 2nd Place Winner

Freeport United Soccer Club recognized the 118 players on the club's nine teams this fall at its annual award ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 2. Special recognition was given to the Under-12 Boys team who reached the Anthem Cup Final on Saturday, Nov. 1.

Although the goals have been put away and nets taken down for the season, many teams will continue with some indoor league play or indoor training. Contact individual team coaches for more information.

League Play Now Complete

The Fall season is approaching its conclusion. All Freeport United teams have finished their league schedules and are preparing for the end of season Festivals and Playoffs. The rainy weather caused some scheduling problems and forced some teams to play make-up games during the week and on Saturdays which kept teams busy on the game field. Good luck to all teams at their Festivals and in the Playoffs.

Rosters Frozen

Team practices and league games are well under way. Soccer Maine has frozen team rosters for this season. All teams have played the first half of their league schedules and are looking forward to participating in the Patriot Crossroads Challenge on Columbus Day weekend.
