10th Anniversary Season!

Freeport United Soccer Club was organized in 1998 (as Freeport F.C.) to provide Freeport area children the opportunity to play soccer competitively against similar soccer clubs in neighboring towns and the larger Casco Bay and Mid-Coast regions. The Club has a Board of Directors who oversee the operation of the club. Each team, of course, has a coach who is usually assisted in administrative areas by a team administrator. The Club currently fields teams for both boys and girls from  Freeport and other area towns at the Under-10, Under-11, Under-12, Under -13, and Under-14 age groups. When possible, the club also fields teams for older age groups during the spring season.

Club Affiliation

Freeport United Soccer Club is a sanctioned club of Soccer Maine, our state soccer association. Soccer Maine communicates and enforces the standards for competitive youth soccer established by US Youth Soccer. The USYS itself is one of the organizing bodies under US Soccer, the National Governing Body for soccer in the United States.
